I have some fun news. I'll be closing down this site soon ~ but you can still visit me and follow my adventures in crafting at my new site http://wanderingscissors.blogspot.com/. I felt the need to have all my online adventures have the same name. I've got my You Tube site and my Etsy site under Wandering Scissors, so now it's time for my blog to join them. And that means blog candy, right? So keep an eye out for the details, I'll get them up as soon as I finish taking and getting the candy up. World Alzheimer’s Day

Today is World Alzheimer's Day. I didn't even know there was such a thing until I happen upon Carolyn King's website, Heart to Heart.
Alzheimer's is such a sad disease. I remember when my grandmother was suffering from it and how I felt so sorry that she was missing out on so much of her life. And my poor Mom, how sad to see your Mom not recognizing you any longer. I just can't image it. :-(
So anyways, back to Carolyn's site. You need to hop on over there because she has the most amazing blog candy that you will ever see. To enter into her contest you must make a card and send it to a care giver, of someone with Alzheimer's, to thank them for the tremendous job they have undertaken. If you don't know anyone, Carolyn has an address of a home you can send your card to. This is the card that I will be sending to the home.
