We had a tree cut down from our back yard. Now the sun has a better chance at warming up the pool sooner. But we have this huge mess to clean up...well not me cuz I'm not allowed to do any lifting, so poor hubby has a lot of work cut out for him hee hee.
I have a few pictures to post! I went to my upline, Vivian's house yesterday and we were able to make quite a few projects. The first one we made was the bra and panty card. My husband liked this one.

Next was Vivian's famous center tie card. It is a real WOW card.

We made this neat post-it note holder. I really liked how it came out and will be making quite a few more for little gifts. Next is me holding the envelope pouch we made.
Make sure to click on all these pictures for an up close picture, well maybe not an upclose at me..just the projects :-) Lastly we made this beautiful card. I plan on using this at my first SU workshop. I have most of the 'ingredients' and it is gorgeous when it's done.

It's the weekend already! Gosh these days are just flying by.
I'm still playing with the Heartfelt Thoughts stamp set I just love it! I made this card for a new friend of mine. I think she will be happy to recieve it. You know who you are Miss Chrissy :-)
I am really trying to stay with all Stampin Up! products, but I need more!
I had to cheat on this one because I don't have any SU ribbon. I'll be placing an order soon and I don't think my husband will be happy about it.

Yay internet is up! We have been having crazy issues with our internet this week. Sometimes it's on and most times it's off. They are supposed to be fixing it tonight. We'll see.
In the mean time, I was able to create this card. The stamp is from SU Heartfelt Thoughts. I really like using this three step technique on the stamps. You just never know what it will look like but they always come out beautiful. As always, click on the picture for an up close view.
On a personal note, I visited my pain managment doctor today and he decided I needed some more steroid shots in my back. Now the first time I had these shots, I was put to sleep first. What a dreadful surprise when he decided to give them to me right then and there. ugghhhh. I gave him my best fainting routine and he said next time, he'll put me to sleep first ha ha on him!

Not much stamping going on this weekend. We went to see the Temptations Review. I had no idea that there was only one Temptation left. He was holding his own with the others with his singing. Good for him. Papa was a rolling stone.....la la la
I've been playing with my borrowed SU stamps and figured out how to do a three step stamped flower. Of course I had to go to Michael's to get myself a stampamajig first. The flowers were done with multi-colored markers onto the stamp. Then stamped again with versamark. And finally the yellow centers. Once they were all stamped, I added some glitter with my finger to the petals. I don't think it shows up on the picture.
I gave this card away already to my cable guy who was here for a couple of hours. Along with the SAB and mini-catalog. Are you proud of me Vivian?? click the picture for a nice view.

This was a challenge and a new technique from the Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers #7. The challenge was to create a card with a sketch challenge. The techniqe was to smoosh ink between plastic wrap. I didn't have any ink so I used some craft paint and smooshed that around. And then put your paper into the smoosh. Mine came out pretty cool. So combining both of these challenges was quite easy once I figured out the color scheme. Thank you to Vivian for letting me borrow her stamps. Again, click on the picture to see the card in detail....very pretty

I have been busy as you can see. My Stampin Up! upline let me borrow a 'few' stamps to play with. And play I will! The first card is from the set Fabulous Flowers. I have always loved the possibility of layering the petals. I cut out six different layers and popped them up. I also ran a gold leaf pen around all the petals and used the pen to put the line throught the brown in the middle. Fabulous look!
The next two cards were made from the Happy Heart Day set. I wanted to make some cards, using this set, that could be used for something other than Valentines Day. So they both became Thank You notes to
special friends. The elephant card was painted with stampin spots and a blender pen. I also used the nestabilities and some white dots. I used crystal effects on the hearts on both cards. The Mouse card was also painted using the stampin spots. White dots all around the pink, too. I used my cuttlebug for the background paper.
Everything in the photos is from Stampin Up! except the pink ribbon and the gold pen.
Thank you Vivian! You are awesome!!!!

Another day, another card. This one is made from the Hostess Level 3 stamp set ~ Time Well Spent. I think I spent my time well while making it. I didn't have a punch bigger than the scallop punch, so I colored the edges with marker to make the cut-outs stand out more.
You can see the card real well by clicking on it. I think it came out beautifully. Thanks for visiting my blog...toodles for now.
I received this award today from Dawn. Thanks heaps Dawn!

Now to nominate the girls who I think have great blogs!!! Give them a visit when you get the chance. It's well worth the visit :-)

Happy Sunday.
I have a couple of cards that I have finished, using Stampin Up! products. The first one is the Valentine I made for my daughter using the stamp set, Happy Heart Day. I used Crystal Lacquer on the heart and I love how it shines and adds dimension. The second card was just practice with the Time Well Spent hostess set. Lots of glitter on this one so my husband loves it. Secretly I do to :-)
Be sure to click on the pictures so you can see the cards up close. Have a great day!

I love this little stamp from Stampin Up! This time I made it so the egg top swivels on the mini brad. So cute!! I also flocked the little chick and used crystal effects on the egg shell. I couldn't think of anything approriate to put on the sentiment so I used the same 'You Crack Me Up. Also used my cuddle bug, I always seem to forget I have it.
I have created my Stampin Up! Website if anyone out in the blogging world would like to check it out...My site.
Now is definately the time to sign up to be a demo, email me for all the goodies you can recieve. Dinner time....toodles

The stamp is from Stampin' Up! the company that I just joined :-)
Anybody on the fence about joining, now is definately the time! They are offering 20% off the demonstator kit and some freebies. Send me a post or an email if you want more details.

Happy weekend! It is gorgeous here in Florida. Beautiful bright blue skies, the birds are chriping the temperature will get up to 80...so nice :-)
Here are a couple Bellas I did for the pajama party held at splitcoast.
The first one was a sketch challenge which I used BikiniBella. This cuddlebug embossing folder remineded me of waves. The second card was to use your favorite things. Well I had to have glitter of course, and a nice big flower. I like the looks of the layers being skewed and I used my nestabilities for the first time. It all came out pretty nice.
I took a huge step this weekend. I have decided to join Stampin Up! My recruiter is a great gal. I love getting e-mail and i'll have to count, but I think she sent me at least 30 e-mails yesterday. She is as excited as I am.
Now I need to pick out all those stamps I want through the catalog for my
starter kit. There are so many to chose from. Does anyone have any recommendations for a new recruit?

I've been tagged by Vivian for the middle name game. I am supposed to use my middle name letters for facts about me. My middle name is Ann so its an easy one to do LOL!!!

This is called the middle name game. Here are the rules...1. You must post the rules before you give your answers.2. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. 3. After you've been tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and answers. 4. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for the details.)Well, here goes..

A ~ Artistic ~ I try to create something every day
N ~ Neat ~ There IS a place for everything!
N ~ Nice ~ I treat people as I would want to be treated.

Gosh that wasn't too hard. Good luck to Dawn Heidi and Jennifer these are the lucky ladies I have chosen. Visit their sites and give them a hollah!
Happy February! Spring is right around the corner, right?
Here's another card I made using my trusty computer. Miss JammieBella got some new jammies. This card was the results of a pajama party held on Splitcoast. Our inspiration was a picture of a cute nightie. I took the print on the nightie and gave Bella her new jammie bottoms. I think she looks pretty snuggley.
